Rehearal Schedule 2014

Rehearsals start Tuesday 28 January at Kent Town 7.30pm with Guest Conductor, Jonathan Bligh. He will prepare the choir, soloists and orchestra to perform Mozarts Solemn Vespers and Faure Requiem.

  • You need to have your own copy of these two works - these are on sale at choir from 26 November - see Phillip Silver (Treasurer) the Mozart is $20.00 and the Faure is $14.00.

  • Make sure you get these scores before end of 2013 & bring them to the first rehearsal.

  • Jonathan has plans to augment the men’s sections with about 16 men from his Festival Statesmen Chorus to get a better balance between the men and ladies.

  • As the rehearsal period is brief Jonathan suggests that to learn and perform these two great works it will require 80% attendance at normal rehearsals and at all rehearsals in the final week.
